MELANOMA MALIGNO EN FOSA NASAL. REPORTE DE UN CASO
MALIGNANT MELANOMA IN THE NASAL CAVITY. CASE REPORT

Resumo:

Objetivo: Presentacion de un caso y análisis de la conducta de nuestro servicio. Relato del Caso: paciente de 64 años que acude a consulta por epistaxis a repetición y que al examen físico se observó pólipo sangrante en fosa nasal derecha. Se realiza biopsia incisional en consultorio con reporte de melanoma nasal derecho, se realiza degloving medio facial para la extirpación de todo el tumor, donde se constato en región anteroinferior de tabique nasal resto de SPN libre, la paciente recidiva nuevamente a los. post quirúrgico, en planes de tratamiento por oncología. Conclusion: El melanoma maligno de cavidad nasal y senos perinasales ocupa menos del 1% de los tumores de esta localización.. La excisión completa es el tratamiento de elección. El pronóstico de este tumor es pobre y la supervivencia media es de 2 años. Aunque el melanoma ha sido catalogado dentro de los tumores poco radiosensibles, se han publicado resultados favorables con la radioterapia.

Abstract:

OBJECTIVE: a case report and review of the conduct of our service. CASE REPORT: Patient 64 years old who consulted for recurrent epistaxis and physical examination was found bleeding polyp in right nostril. Incisional biopsy is performed in an office with nasal melanoma REPORTING right, takes place mid facial degloving for the removal of the tumor, which was found in lower anterior region of the nasal septum SPN remaining free to the patient relapsed again. Post surgery, with the goal of treatment for oncology. CONCLUSION: Malignant melanoma of the nasal cavity and sinuses occupies less than 1% of tumors of this place. The complete excision is the treatment of choice. The prognosis of this tumor is poor and the average survival is 2 years. While melanoma has been listed in the bit radiosensitive tumors, favorable results have been published with radiotherapy.
